Lud Corrao

Industry Leader

Lud Corrao (b. 1937) founded one of the most important firms in modern casino design and construction.

Corrao founded Corrao Construction, Inc., in 1970, and built several projects, including the Las Vegas's Maxim (1977), which he sold in 1982.

Also in that year, Corrao retired, and under the leadership of Tony Marnell II, the firm was reorganized as Marnell Corrao Associates.

MCA helped build several of today's best known casinos, including Mirage, Treasure Island, Bellagio, Wynn Las Vegas, several Caesars Palace expansion projects including the Forum Shops, Harrah's New Orleans, Harrah's Atlantic City (expansion), and the Borgata. MCA has also designed all five custom Cirque du Soleil theaters currently open on the Las Vegas Strip and several other retail, entertainment, and convention facilities.
